Abstract

The archaeological campaign carried out on Cerro de los Infantes, located in the municipality of Pinos Puente, by the PROMETEO research group, highlights a territory greatly altered by human activity. Consequently, the mechanisms related to sustainable tourism use are analyzed, encompassing both the human and physical landscapes, within a balanced relationship that seeks to interpret a human settlement and allows for a revaluation of the important role it has played in the balance of economic and symbolic control over the Granada plain, where Ilurco has always been in direct competition with the ancient city of Iliberri.
