The present work aims to approach, although brief, the set of assets and rural life that the Society of Jesus experienced in the school of San Torcuato in Guadix from the 1700s until their sudden expulsion in 1767. This approach will address two essential aspects. First, the administration and rural activity that the Jesuits carried out in their homes. And, last but not least, the assets with which the children of Saint Ignatius managed to turn their domicile into a center of importance. Based on the following information, the article will address issues such as the administration carried out by the Society of Jesus in the Accitan territory and the surroundings where the properties are distributed. And, finally, the work guidelines that allowed the support of the Jesuits in the Guadix of the Old Regime.
